cylinder head nuts

exactly what type of nuts are used for the cylinder head bolts?  Are they
simply grade 8, if so I can get those alot cheaper here locally than the
$12.50 a set from spitbits.  Should I replace the studs?  Are these simply
grade 8 studs?  Same question applies.
