My opinion on this (I am extremely belaboured at work right now or I
would help design a logo) is to NOT use a design which so closely
parallels Charles Runyan's logo for his Coventry club. If we do plan to
do this, and create a logo, let's do something that is uniquely ours.

Well, a lot of clubs have a logo contest when they start out.

I like the name a lot, but, graphically, I'm sure we all want to show respect
for and keep some distance from the namesake of the Spitfire and whatever
clubs and logos represent those planes and the brave men who flew them. (But,
as far as I concerned, Terry can still be the Supreme Air Commander and Joe
can be Fluif Collector. Joe also gets the starring role in "One of Our
Aircraft is Missing";-)
