Tip:
Do *not* use any factory wiring. Run a separate fused
power wire.
If you want the stereo power to be switched by the
ignition key, install a relay that is turned on by the
ignition circuit, switching a direct fused wire to the
battery.
100W RMS at 12V =~ 8A, assume your amp is 50%
efficient, it draws 16A.
You do not want to go through replacing the wiring
harness (ask me how I know).
