Hello, I'm sorry I accidentally deleted the original thread on this subject, but there was an article in the Dec97/Jan98 British Car magazine about supercharging a TR6. After rereading the article I would think the principles would apply to a Spitfire. The author used an Eaton supercharger and fabricated his own manifold(1st out of cardboard, then plywood, finally aluminum. I would be happy to fax the article if you email me.
