If you are concerned with rear disks on a spit, check out Grassroots in the
next few months. I know they are fitting a Wildwood system to the rear of
the car. Then again the car just got a full IRS in the rear on NewYears eve
(read: really hard core car junkies...). In the Feb. 2000 issue they show
the conversion to front wildwood brakes--a beautiful system. More power and
much lighter. Jealous? yes....
As to why you would want new rear brakes, i am not absolutely certain. with
a good set of pads, i am able to lock up the brakes all around on my spit
and i haven't even done the GT6 conversion. Unless i go roadracing, i don't
feel that there would be a need to convert to disks or even bigger front
brakes.
