It was made from 1959 through 1964.   Jag took over Daimler in 1960, so
in spite of Sir William Lyon's dislike for the car, they continued to
produce it for over 4 years before dropping it.  There were 2644 built,
not many when compared to the production of other cars in a 5 year
period.  It's no wonder the remaining ones are highly prized.
