It's not difficult to weld a cracked frame, but it can be quite difficult to
fix a cracked
frame. To weld it, you just melt the metal, and away you go. To fix it, you
want to
find out why the frame cracked, and what the integrity of the existing metal
is, and
get it back into alignment. Yes, you can have the frame fixed, and probably
you can
do it yourself (it's really not that hard). But find out why it cracked in the
first
place, as this isn't a normal event. Consider reinforcing the frame at the
cracks, and
check the other side.
