I was driving my daughter to school this morning and I noticed some white
smoke out the the back of the car. So I went home instead of driving to
work. Glad I did, the heater control valve was leaking like crazy and the
lower hose coming off it had a nice split in it. :-( Bye-bye antifreeze &
hello overheating.
I am now trying to trace a replacement valve and I can not seem to provide a
decent picture of one or get a diagram. I have looked in the Moss and
Victoria British catalogs, nothing. The valve sits at the end of the intake
manifold near the firewall and has 2 heater hoses coming off it.
The engine is a MKIII GT6 engine with dual stromberg carbs.
Does anybody know a part number or have one for sale? I am located in
Ontario Canada.
Thanks in advance.
