Ok had the timing wrong should be 2 deg atdc. Now set to about 4 deg atdc. Idle still at 1600 rpm. checked dwell thats ok (40). Funny if I start the car without touching the throttle the car will idle at about 900 rpm, as soon as I blip the throttle it goes up to 1600 and stays there.
