Well, I spent a few hours with a friend making a manual on-off switch for
the fan(that worked), somehow fixed the turn signal problem by fiddlign with
the wires, fixed the hazard switch by flipping it 20 times, and I was on my
way.
So I drive it over to the gas station, fill it up, only to find the fuel
sender unit is leaking. ARgh. I eventually spent an hour getting several
dollars worth of gas out of my trunk. No matter how tight i put the damned
collar on, it still was leaking, out of the little curved inward section on
the collar(which is brand new). I even push int he unit a bit, and it leaked
more out of the sides. ARGH!@#
I swore i Put in the gasket in thar'. What could I have done wrong? and
worse yet, how do I fix it? does it need a bigger rubber gasket and some
sealant?
Oh well. might be time to store it(and tow it over to my dad's place) sinec
i Just got my insurance bill. It expires in 10 days and they want another
$175 for it.
But, other than having my car turn itself into a molotov cocktail, the car
ran great. No problems with overheating whatsoever. It never went past half.
the manual switch I made for the fan works flawlessly. Timing was 100% on
the dot(10 bdtc)
