obsolescent

I have to wonder whether parts were replaced on U.S. made cars the same as
on our LBC's, when a .25 part (2.00 now) lasts almost 30 years, I would have
to call that great design engineering, certainly not "planned obsolescent",
I also wonder how much abuse it has taken in 30 years. Just thinking,
certainly not comparing.   "FT"
