Spitmaniacs, Ok, you guys are scarin' me. I've replaced the pinion oil seal on the front of the differential. You're saying that I just can't crank up the old torque wrench to 85 ft-lbs on that pinion nut ? Doing that would be a bad thing ? I haven't done it yet, but I'm really close to that point. What options do you have, take the diff to a gear shop and have them tighten the nut ? Ken C |
