Ali,
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it sounds like you sprayed water in
to one of the oil galleys in the engine block! The plug near the fuel pump
is in the oil galley. The plug, bolt, or sometimes petcock on the passenger
side of the block kind of between cylinders 3 & 4 is the water "port" you
are looking for. Depending on how much water you sprayed in the hole on the
left side of the engine, you might be able to spray something like WD-40 or
another water displacing chemical in the same hole and flush most of the
water out. Just remember to change the oil after you do this and before you
run the engine again!
