Another good mod if you are interested is to substitute your normal manifold for a Doly 1500 manifold, grind it out to spitfire size. Then you can bolt on the HIF66 from a MG metro and have one very large carb, but you start to get power much lower in the rev range. Whats more they also did a turbo version of that carburetter, mmmmm.... if you could make up the exhaust manifiold. You got as standard 100+ BHP from the MG Turbo 1275 engin. Your just putting it on a better breathed 1500 engin. Nice James |
