Check: http://minimopar.simplenet.com/oilfilterstudy.html I just checked my stock of Fram PH8A's in the garage (I use on my Spitfire), 6 had rubber anti-drainback "valves" and 2 didn't. Different era's, no doubt. 2 of the ones that did are the new model with the gripper top end. I'm switching to the Mobil 1 M1-301 filters (check the above website). Clark |
