Hello all:
My '73 Spitfire 1500/IV has the bottom radiator hose connector with outlets
marked "C", "D", and "M". There is a hose that connects to the top of the
intake manifold that the PO has plugged with a bolt. Should this hose be
connected to the "M" outlet on the radiator hose connector?
The other outlets are connected via hoses to the distributor (D), and carb
(C) respectively. If the "M" manifold connection is correct it will still
leave me with a vacuum hole on the front of my single Stromberg CD 150 carb
but we'll be eliminating those little aggravations one-by-one!
