I drive my spit every day that I can, running 70+ on the NY Thruway about
45 miles one way, and only have had problems with the ancient air pump
seizing and had a water pump belt rip out in the last year. Both of these
problems happened as I was getting off of the twy so I was only temporarily
stranded. The biggest problem I have is keeping her from going too fast
since the local authorities seem to look with great interest every time I
go by. I've put 8k on her since last July.
