Spit air

Greeting all,
I made my semiannual trip to the salvage yard this morning looking for Buick,
Jaguar, and Spit (never any spits salvaged around here) parts and/or
accessories.
I found four nice horns and a special temp fuse for the Centurion's a/c for
$10 and a 1967 ADA a/c system with the evaporator and controls that hang
under the dash for $25. While I'll need new hoses, a condenser, and possibly
a new compressor, it was kind of neat finding one of those hang on units in
good shape. The big ? is: Has anyone added a/c to their Spit? Any ideas for
compressors or brackets. It shouldn't be too hard to make a bracket for
mounting the York compressors that were usually used on Brit cars. I've got
two types of clutches for the York Compressor, one with a single pulley, and
the other with a double pulley. It might be best to run the double pulley,
but I'll sure listen to any advice.
Thanks,
Bill Brockschmidt
