For SU carbs, I was able to find a few models of K&N filters that would fit
into the standard air filter without keeping the top of the can open. 
Right now i am not privy to the model number, i will see if i can find it
again (INSERT THE WORD SORRY HERE).  Actually it only took me a few
minutes in the catalogue knowing the internal dimensions of the can to
find several to fit.  I just picked out the one that filled up the can the
most.
