Joe, is it possible to scan those instructions and either post them on a
site or send them as an attachment to other poor individuals with the same
system and no instructions (read that as - send them to ME)? Thanks

Sam,
According to the instructions that came with my Crane (nee Allison)
ignition, there is supposed to have a ballast resistance wither internal
to the coil or externally in the form of a ceramic resistor or
resistance wire. It cautions against removing the resistance or
installing a non ballast coil where one is used.

Regards,
Joe
