After much fussing and finagling I've got the rattle taken care of.  Turns out 
I had the center muffler hanging to low.  Once I got it jacked up into 
position I made a braided wire cable hanger to replace the cheap reinforced 
rubber ones that VB and TRF supply.  Its strong enough to keep it from 
sagging yet flexible enough to allow some movement of the engine.
