Oh, contrare! Those 327's must be REALLY different if you have to remove the
*head gasket* to adjust the valve clearance.. With Spitfires you just take off
the valve cover and go to it.
;^)
I usually re-use the VC gasket until it looks buggered up, and prefer to glue
the new gasket directly to the valve cover with some gasket shellac.
