Rotary Spitfire runs really well

The Rotary Spitfire is now up and running. At the dyno Friday we got 188.7 hp
at the rear wheels and were able to run it to 135 mph in fourth gear on the
dyno!

Perhaps more importantly, It drove the 40 miles to the dyno shop ver quickly,
quietly, cooly and with no scuttle shake! 

You nay sayers were right, five gears and nearly 200 horsepower in a Spitfire
is horrible. This perfest Spitfire is boring, I want my old underpowered,
undergeared rattle trap back!
