I had the same trouble. My first problem was putting the wrong sides on and
then one of the correct sides (I think it was the left) was too small.
Easily fixed. I just put my index fingers inside the thing and stretched the
p*** out of it. It slid right on and actually snugged up when it assumed
it's original shape.
