FYI, I too had problems with my MC but went ahead with the rebuild. The pitting was too deep on the brake MC and so I had to discard it. I did find a supplier for my 73 spit at http://www.fastpartsonline.com/ . They were back ordered until this Feb. Price was about $65 US a lot less expensive than from other suppliers. David |
