The man in the post office said he thought I was going to throw my
Triumph Brick doorstop to my coalshed through his glass partition
this morning, when I took it there to weigh.
My example weighs 5 kilos, about 11lbs - though it has to be said
there is some extra mortar stuck to it.I guess the mailing cost will
sort the men from the boys. If you want one surface mail will cost
US$50.00 exactly and shipping time is said to be 6 weeks.
Alternatively, if you can't wait that long, airmail will be US$70.00
exactly. I've got a fair bit of brown wrapping paper and sticky tape
left over, so I'll throw that in for free.
Whoever wants one, mail me off list and I'll give you payment and
address details.
