I need to replace the windshield frame finisher (alum piece on top of the windshield frame where the hood ((top)) rests) on my '79. When I removed the one from my '75 parts car, I noticed a putty like substance layered between the finisher and the frame. What is it? Can it be purchased? Is there a substitute for it?
