What's a 1296 Worth?

I have a chance to buy a complete 1296 with dual SUs. Came out of a 70
ot 71. What is it worth? The price on the carb setup is $150. What's the
rest worth?. Will it bolt into my 78? Will my transmission work or do I
need to buy that too?
