Oop, didn't get my post finished before the button got pushed!
Anyway, I found that the overdrive rubber mount hung over the back of the
plate that was on the car. Could be different because of the difference in
length of engine and whatnot. What I discovered (after my pop made a mounting
plate for me) is that there is a special mounting plate with a diving board
off the back to accomodate the new mount.
I had the same advice from several people about flipping the mounting plate
around and no matter how I flipped it, the thing wouldn't work.
