[Quafie]

Actually, I ordered mine directly from Quafie in England. Cost me a lot
less that anyone else (about $700 with shipping, two days to my door from
them, still a lot I know but for what I was using it for. . .) I don't
have the address handy though, I ordered mine about a year and a half ago,
but I'm sure someone on the list can help with that.
I actually have a TRUE locker, made in the USA, that was made for the
earlier Spitfires that used the smaller inner axles. It needs a few
repairs,(one of the plates for the springs is cracked and would have to be
re-made or fixed). It is drilled for the later ring and pinion sets
(larger bolts), is a little rough, and *could* be made usable (with some
work). . .I thought of possibly reaming the inner splines out or something
else to use the bigger inner axles but never got around to doing so. . . I
ended up buying the Quafie. . .I might be persuaded to part with it. I
don't know though, I may just keep it. I'd love to use it in something -
too many projects, not enough time/money!!
