In February 1999, The Triumph 2000 2500 2.5 Register will be publishing a
list
in its magazine SIXappeal of Triumph events* throughout the world during
calendar 1999.
(* Those that are notified by all Triumph Clubs)
The objective is that Triumph Owners who are inclined to travel (with or
without) their
cars on an intercontinental basis will be able to find out what is going on
and where.
One of the most interesting events is STER (Standard Triumph European
Rally) which
is taking place at Klein Vink in Holland at the end of May. For Triumph
enthusiasts likely
to be visiting Europe at this time who are probably more familiar with
Sports Cars, this
will be an opportunity to see veritable gaggles of Heralds, Vyteezes,
Dolomites, Toledos,
1300's, 1500's and the BIG DADDYS - the 2000, 2500 and 2.5 Injection
saloons and
Estate cars. The opportunities of seeing some STANDARDS (aka Triumphs in a
distant
continent) cannot be ruled out.
The list will be updated regularly and a website will be posted. Please
notify me of
any event you plan to attend, no matter where it may be.
