Yes, there was a small contingent of Triumphs in attendance. Most interesting
was (purportedly the original) ADU 4B, one of the LeMans Spitfires. I talked
to the car's handlers and they believed it to be the original car. Certainly
looked the part, including aged and damaged paint. Apparently, the owner
decided he wanted one of the LeMans Spits and hunted this one down in a small
museum in Switzerland. I got some photos in its pit and some pictures of it
running on the track (could mail some to a lister with a scanner if anyone is
really interested in seeing the car). The driver appeared to be learning the
car as he went as he was pretty slow in the first laps of his race, but
started picking up a second or two a lap.
Also present was the TR 250K by Kastner. Pretty funky looking. Never showed
up on the track.
All around, it was worth going despite the relative dearth of TRs!
