Regarding the transmission tunnel. My cardboard tunnel was in pieces and didn't keep the heat nor noise out very well. So, I bought some fiberglass cloth and resin from a boat shop and covered my tunnel. In just a few minutes and a few dollars later, my tunnel was like new - disregarding the aesthetics. It is a cheap alternative to purchasing a new one and it might even last longer than a new one. Be careful when reinstalling it. Fiberglass in the skin doesn't tickle. Kevin |
