I know a guy who, while a teenager, rolled a Spitfire4. The windshield surround supported the weight of the car, acting like a 'roll bar'. He and a friend were both able to crawl out, and, while upset at rolling the car, emerged unscathed. Does anybody know if the later Spitfire's have that type of structural integrity around the windshield frame? I'm wondering how my MKIV would fare. Although, it will get a roll bar, one of these days (or, RSN as we say...) Chip == Roight! I'll do you for that! |
