You will need to put Spitfire needels and jet's in your carb. For the jet's it's only a matter of finding ones of the correct inside bore. You can also probebly use the stock needels from a Spitfire streight from the HS4's size 'ABT'. You may also need the piston spring from a Spitfire. As for the initial hesitation, first check the piston for sticking when you push it up.
