Came up with this one yesterday!
Took the day off work to finish up the car.
Refitting your steering rack bushes?
After the 'U' bolts have been removed they need pushing away from each
other. Hence my design.
1. Jack up the car, and place on axle stands.
2. Take some wood 1"x 1/4" x3" and poke it in the space between the
rack and chassis both sides.
3. Take some wood 3"x3"x1/2" with one rounded face on each side longer
on one side than the other.

4. Poke the two square edges of the two wood block onto the two small
blocks of wood. Rounded face up.
5. Take your jack and put unde the join of the two peace of wood.
6. Jack up the jack as much as is needed. You don't need much.
Should form somthing like this
bush

##-____ ____ -## _ big wood - small wood
***** ______ ***** chassis
