I have run a hose from the valve cover to the outside world with an crank case vent facing backwards. This seems to work reasonably well. No smoke up to about 4.5k rpm. I will look into the felt gasket at the top of the dipstick. I don't remember seeing one there. I don't have the tools to do a compression test. I would like to do that some day. Thanks for all who have responded. Dave C 79 Spit |
