Kevin,
Yes, when you completely unscrew the hazard knob, you'll find a socket for a
bulb. When actuated, the hazard knob illuminates (flashes) along with the turn
indicator light in the dash panel -- which is perfectly obstructed by the
steering wheel.
Believe it or not, the wiring diagram does call for the "hazard warning" light
(below the hazard switch) to illuminate with the panel lights. My fix for which
was to remove the bulb.
