Brad -
As you may remember, I have recently done much the same thing on my GT6. I
found a pretty good source for parts, etc - specializes in Brit transmissio=
ns
and overdrives. Try John Esposito at Quantum Mechanics, 505 Wheeler Road,
Monroe CT 06468. Phone is (203) 459-9612, fax is (203) 261-8497. Best to
reach him evenings and weekends. Good turnaround time, etc. So far he has=
n't
been able to locate a mounting plate for the GT6 overdrive, though.
Good luck!

Hi Listers,
It would appear that I've managed to come up with an OD and tranny=20
for my Mk1 spitfire. I should have it in a couple of weeks. At=20
first glance there are several items that I will be needing to=20
complete its installation. Some I KNOW I need and others I'm not=20
sure of yet and won't be until it arrives.
Here is a list of need for sure items.
1) driveshaft
2) steering column switch
3) steering column switch cover
4) wiring harness
5) relay (is it the same as the horn relay???)
6) OVERDRIVE badge for rear boot
Here is the list of not sures
1) OD mounting platform
2) speedo angle drive assembly
If any of you out there can help with any of these or point me to a=20
source I would greatly appreciate it.
TIA
