I am looking for a lug nut. My GT6 came with aftermarket 4-spoke alloy
wheels with funky lug nuts. I broke one and cannot find a source, yet.
I've looked locally at tire shops and they all scoot off in fear when I
mention where it came from.
Let me describe the little jewel: Closed end (just one end, of course)
with a sleeve extending out which is threaded internally. This sleeve goes
between the stud once threaded upon the stud and the alloy wheel. The
outer diameter of this sleeve or protuberance is 12.5mm'ish.
So, now that I've described it with alarming clarity, does anyone have an
extra one that I could negotiate fer? It also has the words "Spitfire,
Sprite, Midget" on one of the flats. Kinda neet having those names
spinning round and round while driving down the road. Gives me a warm
fuzzy. At least until the remaining three soldiers give out and leave me
high and dry.
