That's cool.  I'm not sure what your point is though.

Just to reiterate, I said that the global warming theory predicts shifts 
in hot Atlantic ocean currents and subsequently hot Atlantic air 
currents that would cause some places to heat up as the new hotter air 
gets to them (i.e. Europe, N. Africa) and some places to cool down as 
their former hot air currents move elsewhere (S. Africa, for instance).

For this reason, a claim that global warming is proven wrong by a drop 
in temperature in one place is ignorant and probably lacks any real 
research.  On the other hand, I haven't done any real research either 
=), but I know that a mechanism exists for this sort of thing to happen, 
so I think it's important to bring it up before we all throw the global 
warming theory out the window due to some half-assed, Fox News thinking.
