[Shotimes] Antenna mast replacement

I am installing a new antenna  mast on my 95 MTX. The problem is...I 
neglected (DUH!) to note which way the teeth on the plastic tail were facing 
when I removed the broken mast. So...does anyone recall if the teeth face 
forward or backward when inserting the new one?
