I have never seen a plumber use any of those except the compression ferrul=
e puller. That includes working around one who makes my tool acquisition d=
isorder look mild. I expect they work, but are just not worth carrying arou=
nd. =20
If you want to spend the money on tools, get some knipex cobras and pliers w=
renches, assuming you don=E2=80=99t already have them. They=E2=80=99re gene=
rally useful, and better than channellocks and a crescent wrench for this ty=
pe of work.=20=
