I wired it up and it all works fine. I used the wiring connections as sugge=
sted by a couple of the replies I received.
I still wonder why "ballasts" were mentioned. I am wiring up LED fixtures. =
I thought LED lights didn't have ballasts.....
Thanks again for all the replies!!!

Some LED replacement tubes work with the existing ballast, others do not.
The Only lux T5 I see online comes as a complete fixture with plug and cord=
included.
You indicated yours has bare wires in non-USA standard colors. I think we =
need pictures or a link to he product.

Subject: [Shop-talk] wiring an LED tube
I have some LED lights that I am finally installing to replace the last of =
my fluorescent tube fixture in my outside shop.
Unfortunately, they do not come wired to a plug.
Questions:
Can I use the plugs from the old fluorescent fixtures? I assume I can even =
though the old plug wires are slightly larger gauge.
How do I connect/match up the wires? The old plug has White, Black & Green.=
The new LED has Brown, Blue & Yellow/Green wires.
I will be soldering the connections.
Questions may seem basic or easy to most but I know next to nothing about w=
iring.
Thanks!!
