Don=E2=80=99t know specifically on air lines, but sewer line recommend fall i=
s 1/4=E2=80=9D/foot with 1/8=E2=80=9D/foot being the flattest slope. Remembe=
r that this slope is based on solid waste flow.=20
My air lines are hard copper with a slope of 1-1/2=E2=80=9D in 20 feet. Even=
if the line is level, opening up the drain on the air line should produce e=
nough flow to pull the water out of the lines.=20

I=E2=80=99m planning the airline system install in my new shop. It will be
a circle pattern so that it will wrap round the entire room near
ceiling height. Is anyone familiar with the recommended pitch
or incline recommended for water (condensate) drainage to the
designated vertical drops for line blowdown?
