I think I'll go with the sawzall.  I may drop the pipe first, strap
it down and support it, then cut.  That way I'll have more room.


Removing the pipe without cutting requires dropping the rear suspension
subframe, and I don't want to do that.  Actually its not dropping it
that bothers me, it's getting it back on.

If I need the stock pipe again I can get it welded up (with flanges).

The plasma cutter would be cool but I'd have to hide it
from my wife... she tends to start demolition before there is a
plan for reconstruction.  She's already forbidden from using
the sawzall without supervision.
