I'm all for doing things yourself, but perhaps you want to bring it 
to a machine shop.  Whenever I've had things pressed in, it wasn't 
very expensive.  They should have a bigger press and that may be all 
it takes.  If that's not enough, they should be able to machine 
things to dimensions that will work.
