Most digital clocks use the frequency of the a/c current in the line as their "time". If this one outlet somehow is generating a slightly higher frequency then the clock would run fast. I would identify which circuit this outlet is on and see if every outlet on that circuit acts the same. Some electronic device plugged into that same circuit is most likely causing it. -Damon |
