Eric, this replky came to me from a pro in the cleaning business. (not me, I
forwarded your question)
Grease removal typically requires a degreasing solvent of some kind, and
sometimes some alkalinity. I don't know what is compatible with the guys
floor, but there are several solvents available. Windex contains a mild
solvent, but it is quite diluted, Butyl Cellusolv. Maybe that might help. If
the citrus cleaner he tried is a citrus based solvent, he could try leaving it
in place for a while to give it some time to work, and then try wiping it up.
A source of alkalinity in the home is the powder used in automatic
dishwashers. A paste or slurry could be made from that to see if the
alkalinity in the detergent could help lift the grease spots. I'm really
surprised that he has this problem, I thought the epoxy coating was supposed
to keep that from happening.
