For various reasons I'm moving the shop. Moving sucks. But one thing
I can do is sort of enclose the air compressor in an alcove of its own,
and hopefully cut down on the noise. If I could move it outside to a
little shed of its own that would be sweet, but such is not the case.
Right now there is just a sheet of plywood between the compressor and
one of the work benches. What would be a good material to put on the
compressor side of the plywood to help cut down on noise - standard
fiberglass mat insulation, or rigid foam board or open cell foam sheets
or ???
Thanks,
mjb.
